Healthcare Resources

Mission

The members of the NEA-Alaska Retired Health Benefits Committee are committed to helping our members obtain the best quality healthcare with the least cost to both ourselves and the health plan.

Goal

  1. To assist the NEA-Alaska/Retired Board regarding all matters pertaining to retiree insurance benefits.
  2. To continually review the existing retiree medical insurance program and analyze any proposed changes to that program instituted by the State Retirement and Benefits.
  3. To conduct forums and surveys on retiree medical insurance benefits and distribute information to members in order to educate them and promote communications concerning these benefits.
