Mission
The members of the NEA-Alaska Retired Health Benefits Committee are committed to helping our members obtain the best quality healthcare with the least cost to both ourselves and the health plan.
Goal
- To assist the NEA-Alaska/Retired Board regarding all matters pertaining to retiree insurance benefits.
- To continually review the existing retiree medical insurance program and analyze any proposed changes to that program instituted by the State Retirement and Benefits.
- To conduct forums and surveys on retiree medical insurance benefits and distribute information to members in order to educate them and promote communications concerning these benefits.

Alaska Commission on Aging
